I'm happy. Yes, I am. Finally. I'm not of fan of broken hearts and depression. Who is? I feel like myself again. I've moved past my "woe is me" phase (Thank God) and now back to me.

Starting a new project that I'm most excited about... I'm FINALLY painting my room! I'm making it my little hole away from the world where I enjoy being and feel sexy in. It's my bedroom and I feel the need to feel that way in it. I have all this gorgeous new furniture and now I need to accent it by painting. My apartment is my home and I want it to feel that way. A home. A place to come to. A place to be relaxed. A place to feel cozy and warm and peaceful. My home.

I'm very excited about this! Purple is my favorite color. I can't wait till it's done.

I've been spending a lot of time with friends, old and new, and I can't begin to tell you how much I've missed it. Just to grab dinner or a drink with someone and sit and talk. Spending time laughing over cocktails with old friends and reminiscing about the past! Imagine sitting outside at night on a patio with a cold beer, some tiki torches, a great playlist, and a good friend with no time limit! Friends, it's the greatest thing ever. Margarita Monday's are becoming my new favorite pastime!

It feels good to be me again! I wonder what this week has in store for me!

Ever had one of those days...

When nothing makes sense? When you can't seem to do anything right? When you feel things slipping away? When all you need to do is make some hot cocoa, curl up on the couch with your girlfriends, and watch funny movies and just laugh the day away as if it doesn't exist? When you feel restless? Like you're barely getting by in your life? Like you're suffocating just sitting still? Like if you could just get outta here you could breathe? Like you're not alive at all? When you strike out again? When you continue to fight for something that doesn't seem to fight back for you?
